🦸🏻 Team ownership and communication

GUIDE: we are small, but growing fast. This is a short guide to address the questions: who should I refer to in case of new ideas, doubts or problems and how should I address the matter?

REMEMBER: a flat structure works best when everyone is aligned on what to do and feels responsible for the overall health of the company.

As a principle to handle well internal communication, always ask the following:

  1. Do I have all the info to do my thing properly? In case not, who can I contact or what can I do to get the missing info that I need?

  2. When proposing a new thing:

    1. Do I think it’s going to attract new users to our platform?
    2. Is it not going to damage our current users?
    3. If it fails miserably, will I have gathered actionable insights from it?

If it’s a yes to all, then proceed!

  3. If I do this thing, is it going to impact other team members and their work? If so, discuss with them before you do it.

  4. When planning a meeting, do I have a clear agenda and structure in mind? Are all invitees necessary or can I release any of them?
